Foreign Ministry announces digital transformation of consular services
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility (Foreign Ministry) has announced through social media the optimization of several consular services which, as of June 2024, will be provided exclusively online in order to eliminate in-person procedures and to speed up processes.
The services that will move online include applications for, and the renewal and transfer of, temporary or permanent residence visas (eVisas), and electronic apostilles. These online services are expected to be implemented as of June 01, 2024.
