The Ministry of Labor reformed Ministerial Agreement No. 76, which included the guidelines for the application of emergency teleworking during the health emergency. The reform mainly establishes:
- Emergency teleworking may be implemented during a declared health emergency and/or when the National Emergency Committee (COE) may so resolve.
- These provisions are applicable for the private and public sectors.
The reformatory Agreement also establishes that emergency teleworking is extended for 60 days following the resolution issued by the National COE, so that public and private employers can analyze the personnel’s situation and confirm a programmed and safe return to in-person work, safeguarding the health of workers and public servants.
