Cynthia concentrates her professional practice in the areas of Intellectual Property and Personal Data Protection.

As part of her experience, she has advised diverse local and international companies on Ecuador’s Personal Data Protection Law and its application and effects in different industries. She has conducted processes for implementation and adaptation in companies, impact analyses, analyses of international transfers of data, and the application of database security measures. Additionally, she manages general proceedings and administrative disciplinary proceedings.

In the field of intellectual property, she has worked on the formulation of strategies for managing trademark portfolios, industrial property litigation and defenses in intellectual property infringements.
