David is the director of PBP’s tax practice.
David is the director of PBP’s tax practice. He has more than 10 years of experience in tax consulting including advising on tax compliance, tax planning, international taxation, analysis of accounting-tax aspects, risk evaluation, and work on assessment processes and audits initiated by the tax authority.
His background includes experience in due diligence, tax structuring and disputes, with particular involvement in the oil and energy, mining, pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors. He was a contributor to the Ecuador chapter of “Doing Business”, a World Bank publication, from 2016 to 2020.
He has a Commercial Engineer degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica of Ecuador and a Master’s in International Taxation from the University of Rioja. He has also completed courses on international tax law overseas and has professional proficiency in English.
