Dispute Resolution
Eduardo is a member of our dispute resolution team, he specializes in complex litigation, arbitration, and advice on public-private investment projects.
Eduardo specializes in dispute resolution, particularly complex litigation and domestic and international arbitration. He advises and defends multinational clients in administrative, judicial and arbitration proceedings. His practice covers complex disputes related to infrastructure contracts, public services (ports, airports, roads), strategic sectors (hydrocarbons, telecommunications) and civil liability (contractual and extra-contractual). He is experienced in providing expert reports on Ecuadorian law for international arbitration.
His profile is supplemented by significant experience in the public sector, banking and the structuring of investment projects in strategic sectors and public services under contracts between the public and private sectors (public-private partnerships, strategic partnerships, concessions and delegations).
In the field of competition law, Eduardo has worked on investigations for anti-competitive practices and notifications of economic concentration.
His education and professional experience give him a comprehensive and strategic vision of the cases he advises on. He is currently arbitral secretary at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Quito Chamber of Commerce.
